You can travel to FSC Millport by either car or train (to Largs train station) followed by a short ferry ride to the island. Largs train station is very close to the ferry port.

Once you arrive at Largs, you may choose to leave your car there and come over on the ferry as a foot passenger. There is a bus service on the island next to the ferry port that stops at FSC Millport. Currently, bus tickets are £2 for an adult single journey. For further info on timetables and fares, see:

The Ferry departs approximately every 15 minutes from Largs to Cumbrae from roughly 7am to 10pm (Mon-Sat).

The current fares for a roundtrip are:

Driver/passenger £4.00

Child 5-15 (Infant under 5 free, must have a valid ticket) £2.00

Car or 4X4 (excludes driver) £15.20

If you choose to bring their cars onto the ferry; the Centre is a short ride away from the ferry port on the island. Please note there is limited parking for cars so we encourage people to car share where possible.

FSC Millport houses two accommodation blocks: Elmhurst and Millott. All rooms have coded entry and have en-suite facilities. Most of the rooms are furnished with two or three single beds. A limited number of single rooms are reserved for those with mobility issues.

Our indoor activities will primarily take place in the Allen Building.

Meals will be taken in the dining room located in the Millott building.

The FSR is a not-for-profit collective, so we endeavour to keep enough funds to sustain future retreats.

If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the event, we will refund you 50% of your costs immediately. The remaining 50% is discretionary and may be paid after the event.

If you cancel within 4 weeks of the event, there is no immediate refund. A discretionary refund may be paid after the event, once all outstanding debts have been settled.
